It’s been almost 20 years, but I get to see Failure again. Emo’s. Small venue. So stoked.
Possibly THE most underappreciated band of the 1990s.
And I was at this show, a few months before I graduated college.
EPIC.
Fantastic Planet is easily Top 5 best rock album of the 90s, and too few people realize it.

Eh, I might stick around and see them after HUM opens for them :-)
Honestly though, they do nothing for me. Tried many times but, eh, they just don’t click for me.

I love HUM as well, but I really dig the headphone-intensive qualities of Failure. I think that’s why they work so well for me. I’d spend so many nights poring over college reading assignments with Failure on my headphones.

Ooooh... college night with headphones figuring out stuff meant one album to me: “Cure - Mixed Up”
